My dear Grumer… the answer, as you may have guessed, is “it depends.”
Self-hosting your courses gives you more control, but it is costlier and takes much more effort.
On the other hand, hosting your courses on a marketplace like Udemy or Skillshare is a lot easier, requires less maintenance. However, you give up something very important – ownership over the relationship with your customers.
