Tinder Clone (Updated) 💕✨

A while ago, I created a Tinder clone with Glide that became one of my most popular templates.

However, Glide released a new version of their no-code app creator which doesn’t support the swipe component that was used on that template.

(Note: if you purchased my original Tinder template, it will still work as Glide will keep supporting old apps)

This means, in order to create a similar tinder-like app, the only way to recreate the swipe behaviour is via button logic.

So a button to like a profile, and another button to pass on or dislike a profile.

How do you build such an app?

Well, I created a full new tutorial explaining in detail how to recreate the “swipe” logic using the new version of Glide.

This is a fully-customizable Tinder clone template made with the new version of Glide.

Instead of the deprecated swipe component, this template uses button logic to navigate profiles.

The main advantage of this approach is that is consumes a lot less updates than the previous version (before, each swipe cost an update!)

The matching logic has also been optimized to use less rows reducing the amount of data stored.

This version also looks great on both mobile devices and desktop computers.
