Mobile App to Sell Physical Products | SellApp

Hola amigos!

We’re back in business at Grumo Headquarters in drenched Vancouver, British Columbia.

I’m a very bad swimmer so let’s hope we start getting some sun soon, please!

In the meantime, I’ve been building more apps using Glide, my favorite no-code tool.

As many of my old-time followers may know, a while ago my dad and I invented a new product called Palocam.

Palocam is basically a pole-climbing device that can carry a video camera up any metallic pole to help videographers record beautiful birds-eye footage of soccer games (or any sport played on a field surrounded by metallic poles).

One of the main challenges of building your own physical product (besides getting any sales) has been to manage all our inventory.

You see, Palocam has about 60 different parts that my dad and I assemble at home.

This means we need to order all these parts independently and track how many we have in stock to fulfill our orders.

Until recently, I was keeping track of our inventory, sales and expenses using Google Sheets.

This was getting very messy, so a couple of months ago, I created an awesome mobile app to help us track everything in a single place.

Even more, last week I added new functionality that allows anyone to sell their physical products right from the app as well.

I’m calling this app SellApp.

SellApp is basically two apps combined into a single app.

With SellApp, you can sell physical products, and at the same time, you can keep track of all your parts inventory, get low-stock warnings, and order new parts right from the app itself!

You also can see a simple dashboard to track all your sales, profit and loss, and current inventory value.

I’m very happy with how this apps has turned out.

Building mobile apps with Glide is getting easier and they keep adding really cool functionally every week.
