Create private chats with Glide πŸ”’πŸ’¬

Glide is probably the best platform to create cool apps without coding.

However, as most no-code app builders, it comes with some limitations.

A very common request is to allow users to chat with each other privately.

Glide does offer a native chat component, but unfortunately, that chat component is global.

That means all users see all other users’ messages.

This is great if you want to build a group chat but useless if you want to have private one-on-one conversations.

Luckily, with some Grumo-trickery, I was able to build a private chat inside Glide.

I created a detailed tutorial teaching how to create such private chats step by step.

You can watch the tutorialβ†’Β [ WATCH VIDEO HERE ]

As usual, you can get a copy of the final template for the app so you can play with it and learn how it works.
