Glide is probably the best platform to create cool apps without coding.
However, as most no-code app builders, it comes with some limitations.
A very common request is to allow users to chat with each other privately.
Glide does offer a native chat component, but unfortunately, that chat component is global.
That means all users see all other users’ messages.
This is great if you want to build a group chat but useless if you want to have private one-on-one conversations.
Luckily, with some Grumo-trickery, I was able to build a private chat inside Glide.
I created a detailed tutorial teaching how to create such private chats step by step.
