Recently, I was commissioned to build an app to help doctors follow emergency procedures.
Any mistakes while following an emergency procedure could cost someone’s life, so the goal was to build an app to reduce any chance of errors.
The app had to meet 5 requirements:
- 🔀 Conditional logic: Allow to execute procedures differently based on a series of conditions. (i.e., IF This happens, do This, ELSE do That.)
- 🚴🏻♂️ Training module: Implement multiple-choice quizzes to help doctors learn the procedures.
- ⏱ Timed steps: enable a stopwatch feature for steps that need to be timed.
- 🗄 Execution history: Save all procedure executions for later review.
- ✨ Quick sharing: implement QR codes to quickly launch procedures.

Thanks to Glide, I was able to build the app in less than a week without coding anything.
I’m amazed at the speed at which even fairly complex ideas can be executed using no-code platforms!
This app is currently being tested at a few hospitals in France. I can’t wait to hear if the app is well received.
It would be amazing if, thanks to this app, lives could be saved! 🙌
Vamos!
Peace. Love. 🍪s.
