One of the most typical questions I get is: What tools do I need to create and sell online courses?
It can be a bit overwhelming to choose the right camera, microphone, video editing program, hosting platform, or promotion strategy.
Well, fret no more. In this week’s video, I’ll give you a quick overview of the best tools to get you started creating and selling online courses.

1. RESEARCH
- Google Search: search for “your topic + online courses.”
- Google Trends: enter 2 or 3 keywords to see popular they are
2. OUTLINING
- You can use pen and paper or a project management tool like Notion, Trello, Asana, or Basecamp.
- I like to use a spreadsheet and use color coding to see which lessons have been completed and which ones are left to record.
3. DESIGN
- For stock photos and videos, check Pexels, Pixabay, Envato and Storyblocks.
- To create slides, you can use PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote.

- Paid Ads: only spend money on ads when you’re sure you have a solid course and have tested your dales funnel is converting leads optimally.
