Create Your Channel Banner Image *

Use Canva.com or your preferred image editor (Illustrator, Photoshop) to create your channel banner image (link to Canva → http://bit.ly/2xju5n1)

Make sure the banner image size 2560 x 1440 px (Read YouTube's channel art recommendations here → http://bit.ly/2fmo16l

Include one-sentence explanation of what your channel is about

Include the URL where you want to send people to (your freebie)

Include social proof (awards, titles, brand names, brag numbers)

Include a professional image of yourself that represents your personality

Add Links *

Add link pointing to your freebie (make sure it's a text link)

Add 2 or 3 other links (icon only - to your website, Facebook, Patreon)

Channel Description *

Write a 100 to 200 word description for our About page

One sentence explaining why viewers should subscribe to your channel

One sentence introducing yourself and your accomplishments

Links to any other places where they can find more about you and your work

Channel Avatar Image *

Upload a headshot where people can clearly see your face

Create Your YouTube Channel Trailer video *

Write a 60 sec script and record a video of yourself introducing your channel

1. Start by talking about your audience: Make first connection with your audience by talking about them (not you). For example, start with “Do you want to grow your business?” not “My name is Noah and I like bikes and tacos”

2. Describe the value of your channel: Explain how your channel can help the viewer. Again, focus on the the watcher and what your content can do for them.

3. Introduce yourself: Next, share some of your credibility. Aka why they should trust your advice.

4. Invite people to check out your freebie offer: This is crucial to get people from YouTube to your course!

5. Push for a subscribe: Right as your video closes out, remember to ask the viewer to subscribe

Upload your video to the channel

Make sure you select or upload a custom thumbnail that looks good!

Write your Trailer Video Description *

Start with a keyword rich description of what your channel is about

Include a clickable link (starting with http:// ) pointing to your freebie offer

Describe what is the benefit of the freebie offer

Include the freebie offer link again (starting with http:// )

[Optional] Create a Card on Your Trailer Pointing to your Freebie

IMPORTANT: you need to have more than 10,000 views to be able to create cards - Cards are a great feature that allows you to insert mini-ads on the top right of your video.

Don't follow the instructions below unless you have more than 10,000 views on your channel (read more here → http://bit.ly/2yisx9r)

You cannot link from a Card to your website unless you associate your website URL with your YouTube channel. Learn how to do that here → http://bit.ly/2yho6Mq

Once you've associated your website, add your website URL under "Associated Website" inside your Advance Settings page → https://www.youtube.com/advanced_settings

Add your freebie video card at least two times on the same trailer video
